Omaha Real Estate & Business Senior Associate

Omaha senior associate Andrea E. Hinz is a results-driven and detail-oriented senior associate at Goosmann Law Firm who helps her clients accomplish their goals by navigating the complexities of real estate and business transactions. She uses her analytical skills to help real estate developers, businesses, and anyone with real estate and business transactional needs with their top concerns involving financing transactions, due diligence, title review, zoning, document preparation, contract negotiations, and closing deals.

Andrea is ready to do the hard work for her clients so that they can focus on what’s important to them. She takes the time to explain the issues and complexities, do the necessary research, draft the documents, complete the due diligence, assist with financing, offer advice, find the missing pieces of the puzzle, and guide her clients through the process until the job is finished.

Andrea has always loved learning and from a young age knew she wanted to become an attorney. Her parents grew up on farms in North Dakota, which instilled in them a work ethic which she always admired. Andrea finds satisfaction in working hard and getting the job done, which was an obvious fit for the area of law.

Andrea’s undergraduate degree in accounting piqued her interest in learning about businesses. During and after college, she worked at the National Credit Union Administration examining credit unions and assessing regulatory compliance. Through this experience she was able to use her knowledge to help credit unions to run more smoothly by implementing certain policies, procedures, and accounting rules. She knew the knowledge gained during this experience would help her help businesses mitigate risk in the future.

After graduating law school, Andrea worked as counsel at a large title insurance company focusing primarily on residential real estate title issues. Through this experience, she began to enjoy the puzzle that is property and title work, reviewing and drafting documents relating to real estate, and aiding insureds in resolving their property disputes and issues, both through managing litigation and more informal means of resolution. Real estate transactions are a large undertaking and Andrea enjoys being the person to help clients get them done the right way.
