Omaha Attorney in Construction and Litigation
The Complex Problem Solver
Daniel J. Epstein (Dan) is a construction, business and commercial litigation attorney who helps his clients build resolutions, demolish disputes, and design strategies for success. Dan knows that “time is money”, especially in the construction industry. When deadlines aren’t met, materials are delayed, and payments are overdue, this leads to further problems evolving into costly projects and unhappy clients. Dan represents owners, general contractors, developers, architects, subcontractors, engineers, suppliers, insurers and lenders in countless disputes, state and federal court lawsuits and arbitrations. Dan’s vast litigation experience helps him give strategic advice to clients that protect assets, resolve disputes, and avoid future lawsuits. He listens closely to each client’s needs and goals to formulate a strategy to help them achieve their goals and overcome any obstacles. Dan solves problems involving non-performance, change order disputes, project delays, bond and lien issues, and insurance claims. Along with construction law, Dan focuses his practice on trial law, business and commercial litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. Call Dan today to keep your construction projects moving, protecting your assets, and having happy clients – worth it!
Competitive, factual, and cool under pressure, Dan joins the firm with over 17 years of legal experience in the Omaha metro, handling alternative dispute resolution, business and commercial litigation, and construction law. Dan’s favorite thing about being an attorney is helping his clients find a unique, creative way to solve their problems. Becoming an attorney, sparked Dan’s interest at a young age from watching his father in the courtroom. “My father was an attorney, so growing up I watched my dad represent people and help defend their interests. So, from a young age, I always viewed being an attorney as a noble profession. Since becoming an attorney, I’ve enjoyed working on construction cases given the complexity of the designs and all of the interworking parts of a project,” says Dan.
Originally from Omaha, Dan received his Juris Doctor from University of Nebraska College of Law and his undergraduate degree from University of Michigan. Dan is involved in the community currently serving on the board of directors of the Jewish Community Center. He is an active member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and the Omaha Bar Association.
