South Dakota Blockchain Institute Hosting 1st Annual Fall Symposium in Sioux Falls

The South Dakota Blockchain Institute (SDBI) is hosting their 1st Annual Fall Symposium on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 from 8:15AM to 6:00PM at the Sioux Falls Convention Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The event presented by Big Watt Digital, will feature speakers covering topics including Web3, blockchain technology, digital assets, and artificial intelligence across many industries. The goal of the symposium is to educate and inform attendees about how these technologies and innovations can and will impact the economic landscape of South Dakota.

The Fall Symposium featuring 12 speakers including keynote speakers Barry Sackett, Managing Partner at Goosmann Law Firm; Carla L. Reyes, Assistant Professor of Law at SMU Dedman School of Law; and Charles W. Mooney Jr, University of Pennsylvania Professor of Law, Emeritus speaking on the merits of the Uniform Commercial Code, Article 12. The event’s session speakers include Brigitte Piniewski, MD, Founder & CEO at BlockHealth LLC; Jeremy Nichele, Founder at Big Watt Digital with Dr. Jose-Marie Griffiths, President, Dakota State University; and John Meyer, Founder of Leadmore.
