Jeana Goosmann, CEO & Managing Partner of the Goosmann Law Firm, is pleased to announce that Attorney Channing M. Burd has joined the firm at their Spirit Lake, Iowa location. His areas of practice are agricultural, agribusiness, real estate, and cooperatives.
Burd understands the problems that his clients face regarding cost of supplies and equipment, supply chain issues, as well as environmental concerns. He helps his clients with contract review regarding procurement and third-party contractors to minimize loss. He also assists in guiding his clients through business planning and counseling to not only protect personal and business assets, but also to help plan for the next generation of producers to transition into the family business.

Burd received his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where his also obtained his Master of Laws in Agricultural and Food Law. He received Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from Missouri State University. He is licensed to practice in Iowa and Missouri.
