Andrew W. Simpson is an accomplished business and real estate attorney who helps business owners, developers, and institutional clients navigate complex transactions with clarity and precision. Known for his disciplined approach and strategic thinking, Andy focuses on real estate development and transactions, mergers and acquisitions, land use matters, corporate governance, and estate and succession planning. With more than 18 years of experience, he has guided significant multi-million-dollar development projects across the Omaha metropolitan area while also advising businesses on day-to-day operational and strategic matters.
Since joining Goosmann Law Firm in 2019, Andy became an equity owner in 2020 and served in key leadership roles, including Managing Partner of the Omaha office and now oversees firmwide legal quality and operational excellence, ensuring the high standards of service and responsiveness clients expect.
Andy holds a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law, a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Science from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Andy’s “Why”
Outside the office, Andy channels his passion for baseball into both community involvement and family life. A devoted supporter of the game, he coaches youth sports and serves in leadership roles within local baseball and church organizations. He and his wife, Jody, raised their three children in Elkhorn, Nebraska, where he remains actively engaged in the community.
