Laura O. Peska is an Associate Attorney with Goosmann Law Firm, where her practice focuses primarily on estate planning, trusts, probate and estate administration, and business law matters. She works with individuals, families, and business owners to develop practical legal solutions that provide clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.

Known for her approachable style and thoughtful guidance, Laura understands that many legal matters involve significant personal or business decisions. She believes the best legal counsel begins with listening. She takes time to understand each client’s goals, explains complex legal concepts in straightforward terms, and strives to make every client feel informed and supported throughout the legal process.

Before joining Goosmann Law Firm, Laura represented clients in transactional and litigation matters involving business law, real estate, probate, estate planning, and bankruptcy. Her broad experience allows her to identify practical solutions while helping clients navigate both personal and business matters with confidence.

Laura earned her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in International Business and Economics from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she also completed minors in French and Political Science. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.

Committed to serving both her clients and the legal profession, Laura is Vice Chair, ABA Delegate, and At-Large Representative for the Nebraska State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. She is also active in the Nebraska State Bar Association’s Bankruptcy, Diversity, Bank Attorneys, Real Estate, and Probate & Trust Law Sections, as well as the Omaha Bar Association.

A lifelong learner who enjoys exploring new challenges, Laura spends out of the office training for marathons and triathlons, reading, and spending time with her friends, family and pets.
