Jeana Goosmann is known as the CEO’s Attorney, serving as a trusted legal and business advisor to company presidents, CEOs, and executive leadership teams. As Founder, CEO, and Managing Partner of Goosmann Law Firm, she built the firm from the ground up and leads one of the largest women-owned law firms in the Midwest. She is listed in America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators and Top 100 Bet-the-Company Litigators, using proven methods like reptile theory and psychodrama in high stakes litigation. Her experience as both a lawyer and a business owner gives her a practical, executive-level perspective when guiding other leaders through high-stakes decisions and opportunities for growth.

Her clients range from Fortune 100 corporations to closely held companies and family-owned businesses, and she has represented executives, boards, and organizations facing complex investigations, high-value disputes, and sensitive business challenges. Jeana is also frequently called upon to assist out-of-state counsel and companies with transactions and litigation matters across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

In 2021, Jeana won the Enterprising Women of the Year Award. She is also the Amazon bestselling author of Worth It: Business Leaders Ready. Execute. Deliver., where she shares her leadership philosophy and approach to helping organizations move forward with confidence. She is actively involved in the National Association or Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), remaining deeply engaged in advancing excellence and opportunity within the legal profession.

A sought-after national speaker and media legal commentator, Jeana has been featured across regional and national media outlets and presents at conferences and professional organizations throughout the country. In addition, she writes frequently on business and legal topics through the firm’s CEO Law Review and other professional publications.

As a business and trial attorney, Jeana loves to win. She looks for out-of-the-box solutions and keeps in mind the total landscape, not just the legal landscape. Over the years, Jeana has defied the risks of starting her own firm in 2009, leaving an established, century-old firm to make a bold leap forward. Jeana says, “I took a calculated risk when I started the Goosmann Law Firm. Like a lot of entrepreneurs, it was a difficult decision because my current situation was a good one and a safe one. I just knew I wanted more.”

When Jeana isn’t growing the Goosmann Law Firm, she enjoys spending time and traveling with her business owner husband Chadd and their two children. She is also passionate about giving back, supporting charitable and nonprofit initiatives throughout the Midwest as a member and leader.
