Dave Crary is competitive and experienced. He has spent his career as a trial attorney and has over 50 years of experience practicing law. Dave previously represented individuals and entities in legal disputes and proceedings and acted as general counsel to various businesses. 

Dave brings tenacity, significant experience, and his family heritage to the Goosmann Law Firm. He is the last descendant of the Crary attorneys, of the Crary Huff Law Firm, going all the way back to Sam Crary who started practicing law in Iowa in the early 1900’s, followed by his father Ralph Crary, later a District Court Judge, Bob Crary, and older brother Bruce Crary. Dave enjoyed jury work and the thrill of the competition, as well as the adversary nature of trial work, which made him want to practice litigation. 

“Winning a lawsuit for a client who’s in a tough situation and being able to help them in difficult times made my job all worth it. It’s extremely rewarding to see a happy client and know that you were the one to help make that happen,” says Dave. Nowadays, you can find Dave playing a competitive game of golf, or spending time with his wife, four children, and four grandchildren.
