Carissa S. Crockett is an associate attorney at Goosmann Law Firm’s Sioux Falls office, where she focuses her practice on transactional law, trusts and estates, and family law. Carissa’s legal experience includes internships at the Minnehaha County Public Defender’s Office and DeMatteo Law Firm, where she researched and drafted legal motions on a wide range of issues, from procedural defenses to constitutional matters. Carissa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, where she served as Vice-President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Contemporary Media & Journalism, with an emphasis on Strategic Communication, from the University of South Dakota.
