William J. Hale focuses on business and intellectual property litigation, fighting to protect businesses, CEOs, owners, and executives when things go wrong and secrets are leaked. William also works with several major insurance companies, fighting to protect their insureds’ interests and hold wrong-doers liable. William joined the firm with 7 years of experience working in the security industry and is fluent in Spanish. 

As a business and intellectual property litigation attorney, William enjoys the excitement of the courtroom and isn’t afraid of confrontation. Prior to law school, he worked full time investigating and responding to heated complaints. William says, “Intellectual Property Litigation is the perfect marriage. It lets me take my love of science into the courtroom.” William applies advanced trial strategies, including reptile theory and psychodrama, to help clients navigate disputes every day. 

Outside of his legal practice, William is known for his determination, sense of humor, and love for his family. He and his wife of 19 years have two daughters and enjoy traveling, camping, cycling, and hosting friends for dinner. An Eagle Scout and former missionary in Costa Rica (where he learned to speak Spanish), William is active in his church, where he sings bass in the choir. He’s also an avid board game enthusiast — with an entire closet dedicated to the hobby — and a dedicated teller of dad jokes.
