Trusted Counsel for Complex Litigation, Estates and Government Matters
Partner Matthew M. Munderloh is a seasoned attorney who represents individuals and companies in Nebraska and Illinois in civil and criminal litigation, business and real estate transactions, and estate planning and administration.
Matt brings more than two decades of experience navigating both trial and appellate courts in state and federal jurisdictions. His practice spans a wide range of matters—from representing trustees and other fiduciaries in estate and trust disputes to advising municipal clients and litigating complex business and real estate cases. His work also includes select federal civil rights and white-collar defense matters, as well as government relations and political accountability issues.
Matt is general municipal counsel for multiple cities and villages throughout Nebraska, advising on governance, land use, ordinances, and public policy. His deep understanding of municipal operations allows him to bridge legal and practical considerations to achieve efficient, sustainable solutions for communities and elected officials.
In 2022, Matt received the Nebraska State Bar Association’s George H. Turner Award for outstanding efforts to further public understanding of the legal system and promote confidence in the legal profession. He is a Fellow of both the Nebraska State Bar Foundation and the American Bar Foundation, reflecting his commitment to advancing the law and public service.
Matt earned his Juris Doctor, with High Distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barristers, and served as Executive Editor of the Nebraska Law Review. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies.
